Within the scope of Haklara Destek II, financed by the European Union Delegation to Turkey and in partnership with the Memory Center and Heinrich Böll Stiftung, the aim is to increase cooperation that will strengthen solidarity and struggle against rights violations and rights-based works.
The goal is to provide a total of 1,800,000 Euros of institutional grant support for at least 40 rights organizations residing in Turkey for two years and to implement a capacity development program that will contribute to the institutional development of organizations. After the evaluation phase, the implementation with the beneficiaries will start on 1 January 2023 and the implementation will end on 31 December 2024.
In the Haklara Destek II application evaluation process, priority will be given to rights-based organizations that carry out activities related to discrimination and minority activities to establish the right to equal treatment, develop democracy and prevent polarization in society. In addition, priority will be given to organizations established and operating in the Eastern and Southeastern provinces.
Applications in Turkish will be received through the BELLEK Grant Management System. The application process for Haklara Destek II will take 45 days and will end on June 30, 2022, at 17:00.
