The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ankara and the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul have announced a call for project proposals in the fields of human rights, rule of law, and civil society for the year 2024.
The call particularly seeks to support projects falling under the following categories:
- Projects aiming to implement the comprehensive objectives of the "Federal Government's Human Rights Action Plan 2023-2024" regarding human rights policies.
- Projects empowering gender equality and women's rights, contributing to the implementation of the National Action Plan on the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on "Women, Peace, Security," or supporting the implementation of the UN Security Council's agenda on "Women, Peace, Security."
- Projects facilitating conscious action and the exercise of rights by social groups (including smaller and local ones) and organizations at the grassroots level.
- Projects with a broad impact nationwide or at the regional level, or projects acting as multipliers that can lead to a broader impact.
