According to Article 5 of the Regulation on City Councils, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Ankara City Council will convene with the agenda of election of the executive board of the city council and the president of the city council.
The General Assembly will be held on 7 June 2024 Sunday at 14:00 at Yenimahalle Municipality Nazım Hikmet Cultural Centre (Mehmet Akif Ersoy Mahallesi No:50 Yenimahalle).
According to Article 8 of the City Councils Regulation, the institutions and organisations that have the right to participate in the General Assembly, the documents regarding the representatives they have authorised, or the institutions and organisations that are still members of the City Council, if there is a change of representative, must submit the documents regarding the change of representatives to the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Press, Publications and Public Relations Department or Ankara City Council until the close of business on Friday, 21 June 2024 at the latest.
