About the Organization
Civil society relations of the World Bank began to intensify in the mid-1990s when regional-level engagement action plans were adopted and civil society experts were recruited to work at the World Bank offices around the world. Since then, there has been a significant increase in the level of interaction and cooperation between the World Bank and various Civil Society Organizations around the world, including community groups, CSOs, trade unions, faith-based organizations, professional organizations, and universities.
The World Bank manages several different types of financing mechanisms designed to provide direct financing to CSOs. Most of these financing mechanisms are managed outside the World Bank Center, but some are also managed from the bank's offices in many countries.
Although there is currently no open fund for institutions and organizations in Turkey, it is recommended to follow websites.
