The Maypole Fund is an independent civil society organization founded in 1986 by women participating in the peace movement.
Priority Areas
- Anti-militarism
- Action against the arms trade
- Action against nuclear weapons and weapon systems
- Creating a culture of peace and nonviolence and preventing conflict and war
- Action to support disarmament policies, processes and related initiatives
About Application
Only women's organizations can apply to the fund. Young women and lesbian women are prioritized. Application dates are 31 January and 30 June each year. The application form must be completed in English and sent by email. Financial support of up to GBP 750 is provided. So far, funds provided through the Maypole Fund have contributed to a wide range of activities such as brochure printing, exhibitions, and video production.
