Whitley Fund for Nature (WFN) is an organization that awards and funds environmental protection professionals. By identifying the world's leading environmental protection leaders, it supports projects realized with pragmatic and participatory methods. Sustainable approaches are especially important for the institution.

About Application
In one year, around 9 different conservation leaders and their projects receive a Whitley Award worth a maximum of GBP 40,000. A conservation leader is awarded an additional GBP 50,000 in Gold. In addition, the privileged projects of leaders who have been given the Whitley Award are provided with a Continuation Funding worth GBP 70,000.
Applications can be made in two different periods per year. Detailed information about the application conditions and the application form is available on the website. Applications are accepted online. The application form is published on the website only during the application period. The duration of the projects is expected to be 1-2 years.
