About the Organization
The International Fund for the Promotion of Culture (IFPC) was established at the 18th Session of the UNESCO General Conference in November 1947 with the aim of giving "more importance to culture for the development of individuals and societies and the strengthening of international cultural cooperation".
Priority Areas
Culture as the source of knowledge, meanings, values, and identity, the role of culture in sustainable development, every form of artistic creativity that respects freedom of expression, international and regional cultural cooperation.
About Application
An account must be created on the website for the application. Before applying, it is strongly recommended to read the “frequently asked questions” section. All applications must be filled in completely. Applications must be made in either English or French.
Only one application will be accepted per applicant/project owner. It is not possible to make changes on the application after the application is made.
Only successful candidates are notified within two weeks of the election date. Only in very exceptional cases - in agreement with the institution - if the application cannot be made online, the written application is made by mail, together with the postal proof of the delivery to the address specified in the directory from the deadline.
