About the Organization
Planet Romeo Foundation is an independent non-profit organization established in 2009 to strengthen LGBTI rights. It was established with the support of ROMEO BV Company.
Priority Areas
It works to combat all forms of gender-based discrimination and prioritizes the strengthening of LGBTI rights in the most disadvantaged regions and communities. It supports projects to build a community, provide shelter for LGBTI individuals who are victims of violence, and strengthen the community through sports and cultural activities.
About Application
The Foundation provides support between 500-5,000 Euros for small-scale projects of newly-established LGBTI groups. Applications may generally cover LGBTIs, or may focus on only one of the LGBTI groups. The applicants may be an emerging initiative or a newly formed initiative by experienced organizations. Applications can be made in English, by email and on the first day of January, April, July, or October.
