The Nippon Foundation is an independent non-profit organization founded in 1962.
Priority Areas
There are four programs available for applications from outside of Japan.
- Basic human needs
- Developing human resources
- Leprosy
- Ocean
About Application
The foundation provides support for projects for up to five years. Administrative expenses cannot exceed 10% of the budget. Applications can be made at any time during the year. The evaluation process takes 5 months. Applications must be made in English and by post, email is not accepted.
