The Hrant Dink Foundation was established in 2007 to develop a culture of dialogue, peace, and empathy. 

About Application

Hrant Dink Foundation established the Travel Fund in 2004 to strengthen the relations between Turkey and Armenia. The fund was set up as a fund pool that aims to support young people, university students, university clubs, non-governmental organizations, professional organizations, local youth initiatives, high school students and teachers, academicians and researchers, journalists, artists, sports clubs, athletes, business world, and local governments in the two countries to travel to the neighboring country for specific purposes.

With the Travel Grant, the Foundation aims to contribute to the cooperation between Armenia and Turkey on various themes such as civil society, youth and volunteerism policies, human rights and democracy, education, environment, history, culture and arts, development, sports, regional cooperation, and European integration.

Priority Areas

The Travel Grant supports partner-finding and networking activities in the neighboring country, joint productions in the fields of feasibility visits, cross-border cooperation projects, project preparation meetings, exchange programs, education and language learning, academic cooperation, research, and thesis writing, volunteering in civil society organizations, culture and art, and meetings, panels, seminars, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, etc. in the abovementioned thematic fields or the activities aimed at participation in these events. 

Citizens of Turkey and Armenia, individuals residing in Turkey and Armenia, non-profit groups, initiatives, and organizations based in Turkey and Armenia or operating in one of these countries can be beneficiaries of the Travel Grant.

Travel Grant beneficiaries' impressions and experiences about the neighboring country will continue to be shared on the Beyond Borders website after the visit.
