About the Organization

The Foundation for Support for Civil Society works to develop a solution to the problem that local organizations in Turkey need financial support, but are difficult to access due to language and other bureaucratic difficulties.

Issues that improve the social participation of disadvantaged groups and/or increase their social welfare. 

About Application

The foundation runs two programs as institutional support and project support. Associations, foundations, cooperatives, and other non-profit organizations established in Turkey can benefit from this Program. However, vocational and aid organizations and social assistance and solidarity foundations cannot benefit from the grant program.

The Institutional Program grants for the institutional development of CSOs. Unlike the programs that provide grants for projects, it supports activities aimed at improving the internal capacities of CSOs. CSOs applying for the Institutional Program must have been established at least 1 year before the application, and their total income in the previous year should be more than 30,000 TL and less than 750,000 TL. 

The Project Program has been created to support organizations with a certain budget and institutional capacity to continue a previously carried out project or to support a new project idea.

Supports are for studies that last up to 12 months. A CSO is supported under this Program for a maximum of 2 years. However, CSO has to make a separate application each year. CSO's previous year income should be more than 150,000 TL. There is no deadline for applications. Interested CSOs can apply at any time during the year. Evaluations are made in regular meetings every month.
