The Youth Bridge aims to increase the opportunities for mutual exchange between Turkey and Germany with concrete programs and by highlighting the existing initiatives and to strengthen the relations between the two countries by getting closer to each other.
German-Turkish Youth Bridge aims to increase the number of young people participating in exchange programs, to collect and share information on all kinds of opportunities in this field, to strengthen networks and cooperation, to increase the visibility of exchange programs between Turkey and Germany, and to create additional grant opportunities by partnering with civil society and public institutions in Turkey and Germany.
Within the scope of two separate grant programs of 1000 Euros and 5000 Euros, German-Turkish Youth Bridge grants up to 5000 Euros to the projects of civil society organizations, public high schools and public and foundation universities and youth centers that include exchanges with Germany and include young people between the ages of 12-30.
It also runs the program of "Willkommen Turkei! Hoşgeldin Almanya! (Welcome Germany!) Germany-Turkey Student Exchange Projects", a program of Robert Bosch Stiftung, and within this scope, grants projects involving an exchange between high schools from two countries. This program is carried out jointly with the Goethe-Institut Istanbul in Turkey.
In order to apply for a grant, the project must be a project where equal numbers of young participants from both countries will be realized together in either Germany or Spain, and a detailed program and financing plan for the project must be prepared. It is possible to get detailed information from the program website and to register for the database. When the registration is approved after registering in the database, both the registered institutions can be searched to find a partner institution from Germany, and if there is an institution already established, the application can be submitted to the German-Turkish Youth Bridge by filling the online application form. Within the scope of the program, there is also a tool called Micro Grants that provides support up to 1000 Euros.
