About the Organization

The foundation is a type of social foundation that has many examples in the world but has no example in Turkey. It is a social foundation founded by 32 leading donors who live in Bolu within the framework of the new foundation approach applied in the world, who have undertaken to serve humanity and have a sense of social responsibility. The purpose of the foundation is to increase the quality of life of the province of Bolu, to bring it to a livable city, to provide financial and moral support to initiatives, individuals, and CSOs to solve their priority problems. The foundation has two different areas of work: grant-supported projects and publication-supported projects. The foundation also provides scholarships. 

Priority Areas

Social Development Grant programs cover all activities that increase the quality of life of the province and projects related to the solution of social problems of CSOs. The expected outputs of the projects are social justice, employment creation, social participation, research, advocacy, and the impact it will create.

About Application

Associations, foundations, professional organizations, cooperatives, universities, and educational institutions established in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey and located in Bolu, as well as individuals (those who produce a "For a Better Bolu" project) can apply for a grant. Under the grant scheme, cooperation with other organizations is encouraged and therefore projects with partners are prioritized. Public institutions and organizations, local administrations, international CSOs and/or private sector projects can be partners, but they cannot benefit from the grant. Applications are made on the website. The results are announced approximately 40 days after the application.
