Freedom of Belief Initiative invites you to a webinar where examples of combating hate crimes from around the world, including Turkey, and the experiences of civil society in addressing these crimes will be discussed.
In the webinar moderated by Betsy Penso from Avlaremoz, Murat Köylü will talk about Kaos GL's work focusing on hate crimes based on homophobia and transphobia; Bill Howe will talk about the anti-discrimination and hate crime activities of the UK-based Stop Hate UK; Dr. Anna Tatar will share the experiences of Never Again, which works on racism and discrimination in Poland. Funda Tekin from the Freedom of Belief Initiative will also talk about monitoring work on hate crimes based on religion, belief or disbelief.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, between 19.00-20.30.
