The Platform for Accessible Maths Teaching (ENMEP), which aims to provide supportive training, accessible materials and content for learning and teaching maths to visually impaired people and the teachers and families who interact with them on the basis of equal opportunities, is looking for new volunteer teachers.
The Platform for Accessible Maths Teaching continues its work for visually impaired students, teachers and families with the accessible materials and content it creates. You too can join the ENMEP team as a volunteer and contribute to this process.
Deadline to volunteer as a teacher in the new academic term: 15 August 2024
Application requirements:
- Graduate degree in one of the departments of Elementary Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Computer and Instructional Technologies, Special Education, PDR and Psychology or as an undergraduate student,
- Have an electronic device with a stable internet connection (computer, tablet, etc.) for distance learning, preparation of accessible materials and/or use in the general processes required for distance learning,
- Spend at least 2 hours per week as a volunteer.
*Upon completion of applications, an online professional development support training programme entitled "Mathematics Instructional Strategies and Materials for Visually Impaired Middle and High School Students" will be organised for volunteer applicants.
