Engelsiz Erişim Derneği is looking for a new colleague to be hired on a full-time basis to support ongoing activities and association operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a 4-year undergraduate degree at a college
- Openness to innovation, a willingness to grow and an inclination to work as part of a team
- Openness to collaboration and willingness to share responsibilities
- A work discipline that is transparent, accountable and orderly
- Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Volunteer or work experience, preferably in the disability field
- Experience in human rights monitoring/reporting, preferably on the rights of persons with disabilities
- English reading and writing skills preferred (applicants with proof of language proficiency may submit proof in the CV Appendix)
- Effectively using MS office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint); Effective use of digital meeting and broadcasting tools such as Zoom and Google Meet
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules as needed
- Be able to travel out of town and abroad as needed
- No barriers to residency in Istanbul
Job Description:
- Keeping track of all kinds of internal and external correspondence of the association, keeping records of it, archiving this correspondence
- Representing the association at national, international or private institutions or NGOs when necessary; building and maintaining relationships
- Assist in updating visual and written databases, managing and archiving all documents and content related to the Association
- Share, track and update the association's social media and website
- Assist in the production of digital content related to the Association, such as content creation, image matching, and visual description
- Keeping track of project announcements and informing association members of the appropriate project calls
- Preparing correspondence and reports on the association's projects, following up on the process
- Attend weekend trainings/organizations, etc.
- Participation in the coordination meetings held at regular intervals in the office
- Organizing events to be conducted by the Accessibility Association, assisting other team members in conducting events, keeping data records of events, describing and archiving visual content
- Reporting on data on a monthly basis, preparing informational reports
