The Youth and Change Guide, prepared by UNESCO and UNEP, was translated into Turkish and adapted to Turkey in partnership with Wheat Ecological Life Support Association and Green Steps Environmental Education Association.
Based on the fact that half of the world's population consists of people under the age of 20 and 90 percent of this group lives in developing countries, the Youth and Change Guide aims to guide young people living in cities to gain sustainable consumption habits. The guide offers resource information, case studies and suggestions especially for young people on topics such as health, transportation, waste, energy, shopping, water, fashion, food, and natural life.
The Youth and Change Guide, which has been translated into 17 different languages along with Turkish, also serves as a “training set on responsible use” for trainers.
