The report, which consists of 477 pages and 16 main titles, was prepared by the IHD Headquarters Documentation Unit by examining the reports of the Human Rights Investigation and Research Commissions, the applications made to the İHD, the news in the local and national press, and the reports of non-governmental organizations.
Drawing attention to the increase in violations of rights in recent years, İHD stated that the peace and solution process and the European Union Accession Negotiations were directly influential in the democratization of Turkey, that pauses or regressions in these two issues negatively affected the human rights environment in Turkey, therefore, positive developments in these two processes could lead to human rights violations. It is also pointed out that it will have a positive impact on the human rights environment.
