The book, Prohibition of Discrimination: Concept, Law, Monitoring and Documentation, written by Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law and Human Rights Law Practice and Research Center members, assistant professor Dr. İdil Işıl Gül and research assistant Ulaş Karan has been published.

The book has been prepared to be used as a resource in trainings on discrimination and monitoring and documentation of discrimination, and in monitoring and documentation activities carried out by NGOs and trade unions.

In the first part of the book, non-discrimination and related concepts in national and international law, non-discrimination standards and different control mechanisms established for their functionality were included. In the second part, the aims, principles, scope, planning and methods of monitoring and documentation activities regarding the prohibition of discrimination were mentioned. At the end of the book, there is a dictionary containing the concepts related to non-discrimination, the unofficial Turkish translations of the Racial Equality Directive of the Council of the European Union and the Directive on Equality in Employment, the list of relevant international documents, information on national and international application procedures, communication of bar associations
