Opuz v. the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on 9 June 2009. Feride Eroğlu summarized the verdict in a case with the Turkey decision, which found a state guilty because it could not prevent domestic violence and take the necessary measures to eliminate discrimination against women, and was translated into Turkish.
According to the decision; the right to life of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) in this case; is stated that the articles on the prohibition of torture and ill-treatment and the prohibition of discrimination are violated.
