Digital Skills Development to Increase Youth Employment Project September Applications Opened

The program, which focuses on improving the vocational skills of those in need to support their access to livelihoods, will include both online and face-to-face applied modules in the fields of informatics, accounting and trade.

• The provinces where the program will be implemented: Istanbul, Adana, Izmir, Mersin 
• Duration of the program: 5 months, including 2 months of technical training and 3 months of on-the-job training 
• Application Deadline July 21, 2023

Training Topics 

• Graphic Design: In this training title, participants will increase their knowledge on basic graphic design and the use of Photoshop programs (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator). 
• Pre-Accounting: In this training title, participants will increase their skills in tracking and processing the data that will ensure the financial management of the business, tracking the company's current, bank and cash accounts, as well as preparing invoices, delivery notes, checks / notes. 
• Digital Marketing: In this training title, participants will increase their knowledge in the fields of "Google advertising", "Search Engine Optimization (SEO)", various social media channels interface, security, account management and advertising, sales from international and national e-commerce platforms.

Application Criteria

• Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey or under temporary or international protection.
• To be between 18-40 years old,
• To reside in Istanbul, Adana, Izmir, and Mersin,
• For candidates under temporary or international protection, being registered in one of these provinces and having an ID with a validity date starting at least 6 months ago,
• Not working in an insured job,
• Preferably being a 4 or 2-year university graduate or a final year university student or graduating from the relevant departments of vocational high schools,
• Have or have access to the necessary tools for regular follow-up of the training and on-the-job training program,
• To have written and oral Turkish language competence at a level to follow the trainings,
• To commit to participate in the on-the-job training program in companies working in the field of informatics and accounting after attending the trainings.
