Denizli Autism Association (DOD) was accepted as a member of Autism Europe, the voice of individuals with autism and their families in Europe. DOD's membership took place at the Autism Europe General Assembly held online on 7 November 2020.
DOD President Burcu Bilik said: "We are among the beneficiaries of the Support to Rights Program carried out with the financial support of the European Union. In this context, we planned to focus on international studies in the 2020-2021 period. Being a member of Autism Europe is a very important step for our association. Thus, we carried our cooperation efforts between civil society organizations in this field to the international community. Our goal is to advocate the rights of individuals with autism in a wider area, as well as to contribute to the recognization of good examples in Turkey. "We are happy that a new and exciting has begun for us."
