The screening of the film "Dargeçit" will take place on Wednesday, 26 June at 19:00 in Ankara in cooperation with DEMOS and Hafıza Merkezi. The producer of the film, Enis Köstepen, and the director Berke Baş will also attend the screening.
Directed by Berke Baş and produced by Enis Köstepen, the feature-length documentary film Dargeçit (Hold Still) follows the court case in the Dargeçit JİTEM case, which was opened after years of struggle by the relatives of seven people who were forcibly disappeared in 1995 in the Dargeçit district of Mardin, their lawyer Erdal Kuzu and the Human Rights Association (İnsan Hakları Derneği).
