Gender-Focused Digital Activism
Mert Koçak and Elifcan Çelebi: 17 February-10 March 2022, Thursday, Time: 19.30-21.00 The Gender-Driven Digital Activism seminar is designed to recognize gender-focused data sources, discuss data-driven activism, and rethink advocacy through examples of digital activism. The first week of the seminar, which will last for four weeks, is planned to get to know the channels that provide gender-focused data, the second week to draw attention to important issues regarding the use of online media in advocacy activities, and the third week to discuss important points about organizing and advocacy activities on digital platforms. In the last week, participants will gain experience in the production and dissemination of information in the digital field through a pilot application.
Using Online Tools for Advocacy

Queer Methodology and Data Analysis
Ezgi Yılmaz and Pınar Eldemir: 3 April – 24 April 2022, Sunday, Time: 14.00-15.30 The “Queer Methodology and Data Analysis” seminar covers queer theory, queer methods, and methodologies, the possibilities, and limitations of queer data science, what it means to do queer research, the meaning of queer data and how to collect it, and how it will be analyzed and visualized at an introductory level. takes over. The seminar “Queer Methodology and Data Analysis” aims to present key concepts and discussions on this topic, bringing a critical view of normative methodological approaches and highlighting the possibilities of queerization of methodology.
