Scale Up Organisations

We aim to improve our work in civil society, diversify our human and financial resources, and deepen our relationships with volunteers. To achieve this, we first need to strengthen our institutional capacity. That's why 400-Scale Up Organizations was designed for organizations that want to take their institutional capacity to the next level and establish new and sustainable mechanisms within the organization.

Scale Up Organizations consists of 4 headings, each designed independently yet supporting each other. These are:

• 401 - Social Benefit and Economic Enterprise
• 402 - Relationships with Volunteers
• 403 - Research Methods for Evidence-Based Advocacy
• 404 - Effective Communication and Mechanisms Within the Organization

Scale Up Organizations is a comprehensive and structured 4-month capacity-building program that combines participants' practical experience in the field with academic and professional knowledge. Based on the approach of learning by doing and adult education, it provides opportunities to experience and reflect on the topics and concepts that are at the center of organizational capacity.
 

• To deepen knowledge on topics such as conflict management, nonviolent communication, teamwork, and feedback mechanisms that can help to build a peaceful working environment within organizations,
• To learn about existing volunteer programs around the world and in Turkey, and the steps to design volunteer programs tailored to the needs of organizations,
• To learn how to develop a business plan and revenue models that can best contribute to the social benefit, aimed to achieve through the economic enterprise, which is a resource development method for organizations,
• To learn the steps to create a research design necessary for evidence-based advocacy, data collection and analysis, and how to report these analyses in line with goals.
