Three Legged Capacity Building
CSO Resource Centre, which aims to support the capacities of organizations with a holistic approach, provides organizational capacity support for the efficiency, thematic capacity support for the effectiveness and financial capacity support for the sustainability of organizations within the framework of capacity building actions.
In CSO Resource Centre, actions are conducted towards strengthening the civil society organizations' management mechanisms, monitoring and evaluation capacities, digital qualifications and financial management skills and increasing the social impacts of them in the fields of their presence by way of activities aiming to increase the efficiency and qualification of the organizations.
In regards to the many challenges the organizations experience for various topics from the technical issues met during project application to management of funding resources, from advocacy and visibility activities to establishing partnership with national and international networks, the Support Point cooperates with the organizations.
Support for the Cooperation between Civil Society and Academy
CSO Resource Centre conducts various actions also for the purpose of increasing the capacities of CSOs in regards to their field of activity, primarily for the organizations' active participation to policy making processes and their advocacy and lobbying activities.
CSO Resource Centre, which has activated the Civil Society School (Sivil Toplum Okulu - STOK) and CSO-Academy Cooperation In Kind Support Program for developing public-civil society-academy cooperation, conducts a networking action for strengthening both the academy and the civil society environment and actively connecting the academicians working on the field of civil society and CSOs.
Stronger CSOs with Technical Support
There are also actions conducted in CSO Resource Centre that aim to support the sustainability of civil society organizations and developing their fundraising capacities.
CSO Resource Centre funding sources database is updated regularly, and various actions are conducted with grant-giving organizations towards developing dialogue and awareness for financial sustainability in the scope of fundraising activities.
In CSO Resource Centre, designed to provide support to organizations in regards to topics for which they have need of assistance, also the "Organizational Coaching Program" is conducted as a specialized technical support component.
Through Organizational Coaching Program, which was designed as a specialized technical support in line with the needs defined by the civil society organizations themselves, one on one studies are conducted with a certain number of local civil society organizations.
