The Checks and Balances Network invites those who want to be an active part of democracy, participate in the processes and influence the decision-making mechanisms to the The Checks and Balances Youth Network Program. The second edition of the The Checks and Balances Youth Network Program will take place between July 10 and 15. The deadline for applications is June 16, 2023.
The Youth Network Program aims to have participants identify a social problem and use a social entrepreneurial approach to develop creative solutions to the social problems they observe.
The issues that young people can address through the program are:
- Sustainable development goals and social entrepreneurship training
- Opportunity to meet with initiatives focused on the sustainable development goals
- Film screenings, nature walks
- Problem identification workshops - desk-based surveys
- Training on design thinking
- The theory of change
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 can apply for the program, whose language of instruction is Turkish. Click for detailed information and application.
