The young women participating in the Sparks Program will come together every week for 8 months to create a social change project to solve a problem in their community. They will research and discuss topics such as gender equality, social change, human rights, digitalization. They will receive trainings on leadership, being a team, project management. They will come together with role models who will contribute to their professional development. They will learn the skill of well-being, which is one of the necessary competencies for a leader. They will experience the spirit of solidarity.
Characteristics sought in sparks:
- Being a 2nd or 3rd year student of universities in the 2023 - 2024 school year,
- To fulfill their responsibilities, to be willing to improve themselves and to work in a group,
- Be ethical, socially responsible and curious to learn.
What is expected from the sparks:
- Spend an average of 2-3 hours every week for 8 months for meetings,
- Participate in trainings and role model interviews and implement a social change project,
- Participating in the two-day "First Step to Leadership Meeting" in November and the "Change Leaders Summit" in May.
