We talked with Ceviz Autism Association, one of the CSOs that organized solidarity. While the COVID-19 agenda deepens the existing problems, civil society organizations continue to work stubbornly.
Organizations that moved their face-to-face works to online platforms started to exceed the geographical limits along with the opportunities provided by online tools. One of the organizations that exceeded their limits and strengthen the solidarity is Ceviz Autism Association, which carries on their works in Istanbul…
While the Association moves their experience sharing workshops which they carry out in Istanbul before the quarantine, to online platforms, they are now coming together in a large family network from Antalya to Rize.
In their online sharing workshops, the sourdough bread recipe which is one of the famous recipes of the quarantine days is shared and word studies are also made for language teaching. Online meetings set up by both individuals with autism and their families strengthen the solidarity in those troubled and crisis days we have gone through.
If you wish to involve in their work, you could get in contact with Ceviz Autism Associations from this address: http://www.cevizotizm.org/
