The TPF Türkiye Earthquake Fund, established in response to the devastating February 6th, 2023 earthquakes, is now accepting applications for its latest grant cycle. With $1 million allocated for this round, the fund invites Türkiye-based nonprofit organizations, including current TPF partners and new applicants, to join in addressing the ongoing needs of earthquake-affected communities.
Eligibility
The TPF Türkiye Earthquake Fund provides project-based grants to Türkiye-based nonprofit organizations delivering direct support to populations impacted by the 2023 twin earthquakes. To be eligible for funding, organizations must meet the following requirements:
- Non-political and Non-religious Status: Organizations must operate independently of political or religious affiliations.
- Alignment with TPF’s Mission: Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to TPF’s mission of fostering resilient, self-reliant communities in earthquake-affected regions.
- Due Diligence: Organizations must successfully complete TPF’s comprehensive due diligence process, which includes reviews of financial transparency, operational capacity, and governance structures.
- Demonstrated Local Impact: Organizations must be based in Türkiye and have an established presence in the affected regions, with proven experience in delivering effective support in disaster recovery.
Applications meeting these eligibility requirements will be evaluated based on TPF’s funding criteria, which prioritize sustainability, equity, collaboration, and measurable impact.
