The European Commission will recognise successful initiatives contributing to Roma empowerment in the field of education under the EU Prize for Roma Integration in the Western Balkans and Turkey.
This year's prize aims to recognise achievements in the inclusion of Roma in the education sector and is open to applications from individuals, civil society organisations, public institutions and private sector representatives who contribute to creating equal opportunities in education.
The award is funded by the European Union and implemented by Roma Active Albania.
Who can apply?
- Projects working to support Roma children and young people in education
- Initiatives to combat discrimination and promote inclusion in schools
- Innovative solutions to improve access to education for Roma communities
- Individuals and organisations empowering Roma youth in education
