What will be done?
Within the scope of the Change Ambassadors Programme, 15 young people between the ages of 18-30 living and studying in Samsun will be brought together and the following workshops will be held in Samsun for 2 days on 26-27 April:
- Ecological literacy
- Ecology of Samsun
- Campaigning and advocacy
- Decision-maker mapping and participation in decision-making processes
- What does Samsun need?
As a result of the workshops, we will support the launching of two different signature campaigns in line with the demands for environmental and climate change in Samsun, conducting communication activities on the subject throughout the process and meeting with decision-makers.
Who Can Participate?
- On 26-27 April, they will be able to participate in 2-day face-to-face workshops with 1 night accommodation,
- Willing to work on environmental and climate issues and to influence decision-makers,
- Living or studying in Samsun,
- University students between the ages of 18-30 can apply.

About Change Ambassadors
The Ambassadors of Change Programme aims to strengthen the fight against the climate crisis in different cities and regions, to make demands for nature protection heard, and to increase the effective participation of young people and women in decision-making processes by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to advocate for their rights in these areas.
So far, 23 young people from 14 cities (Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Eskişehir, Şanlıurfa, Manisa, Erzurum, Zonguldak, Kayseri, Nevşehir, Konya, Denizli, Adana, Muğla) have participated in the Ambassadors of Change Programme and launched 20 campaigns to combat the climate crisis in their regions. Thanks to these campaigns, they supported the local people to make their demands to fight against the climate crisis heard and more than 90 thousand signatures were collected and 9 campaigns had an impact.
