Hayat Sende Association has launched the Alternative Care Database for monitoring and advocacy in the field of children, young people, and individuals leaving protection. In the database, you can access legislation, statistics, and different resources related to children growing up under state protection, individuals leaving protection, foster family, adoption.
The database is aimed to increase the visibility of children and young people with different characteristics and needs within the child protection system and to highlight their needs and problems.
The statistical data in the database are obtained from the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the news reflected in the print media, and the publications published by non-governmental organizations. Descriptive data consists of national and international reports, academic studies, expert opinions, news samples, and strategic litigation examples.
Individuals and non-governmental organizations trained in the database can also share data.
