As part of the project titled "Democracy Under Threat: How Education Can Save It," supported by the European Research Council, the University of Glasgow will organize a workshop on active citizenship in Istanbul. The workshop, which will bring together academics, civil society organizations, and supporting institutions working in this field, is scheduled to take place in Istanbul on September 27, 2024.
The aim of the workshop is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and share experiences among civil society organizations, international donors, and academics. Additionally, it will focus on developing new strategies for citizenship education in these challenging times for democracy around the world.
