13th International Meeting of the World Women's March Begins in Ankara

The 13th International Meeting of the World Women's March begins in Ankara on October 6. The 13th International Meeting of the World Women's March, which will be held in Ankara between October 6-12, will host over 150 feminists from 62 countries.  

 

The international meeting of the World Women's March, which has national coordination units in 62 countries and is held every 2 years, will take place in Ankara between October 6-12 this year. Starting on October 6, 7 and 8 with public events, the program will continue with the international meeting on October 9-12.

The first event of the 13th International Meeting of the World Women's March, which aims to change political, economic, social and cultural stereotypes, will be a panel titled "From Bahriye Üçok to the Present: Women's Struggle for Secularism in the World" on October 6 in collaboration with the 29 October Women's Association. Şenal Sarıhan from Turkey, Bushra Khaliq from Pakistan, Şerifa Kheddar from Algeria and Nana Aicha Cisse from Mali will be the speakers of the panel that will take place in the hall of Belediye- İş.

On October 7, Kocatepe Cultural Center will host an all-day series of discussions and panels on different topics. Women from different countries from 5 continents will take part in these panels as speakers. 

On October 8, an international march will take place from Tandoğan Square to AnıtPark at 15.30 with the title "We resist to live, we march to change!".
