According to 2019 data announced by TUIK, there are 720,000 child workers in Turkey. Children continue to work in dangerous jobs that are not suitable for their age, both in the world and in our country.
As BİLGİ Child Studies Unit and BİLGİ Migration Research Center, for the elimination of child labor between 2016-2021; realized the “Prevention of Child Labor Project”, in which they identified the reasons for the employment of children and discussed prevention and intervention methods. On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour, their work with you is attached.
