You are invited to the Human Rights Advocacy Workshop

Haklar Projesi invites you to the "Human Rights Advocacy Workshop" to be held in Ankara on May 25 and 26, 2024. In parallel sessions on the rights of young people from vulnerable groups, young people will develop proposals that will inspire social change.

Accommodation, three meals per day, travel expenses for participants from outside Ankara as well as lunch, tea-coffee and snacks for participants from Ankara will be covered within the project budget.

Application requirements

  • You are a university student aged 18-25,
  • Resident in Ankara, Diyarbakır, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Mardin, Mersin and Samsun or a college student in these cities.

Members of the Haklar Ağı (https://haklaragi.haklar.org/), those who have completed online human rights trainings of the Haklar Projesi (5 trainings) (lms.haklar.org) and those who have participated in the human rights monitoring and human rights equality meetings held within the scope of the project activities are eligible to apply.

About the Haklar Projesi

The project "Empowering University Youth for Furthering Human Rights of Young People from Vulnerable Groups", whose short name is "Haklar Projesi", is implemented under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (DIHAA) of the European Union to prevent discrimination and human rights violations against young people from vulnerable groups. aims to empower its students.

The project, which is implemented by the Youth Services Center Association (GSM), the Mardin Joint Women's Cooperation Association (MOKİD) and the Uğur Mumcu Investigative Journalism Foundation (um:ag), aims to establish a connection among university students aged 18-25 on the basis of equality and zero discrimination through online and face-to-face events.
